Covid-19 Pandemic Lockdown on the Development Process in Nigeria
Abstract
This study examines and evaluates the impact of Covid-19 pandemic lockdown on the development process in Nigeria. The aim is to illuminate clearly that Covid-19 pandemic lockdown affected the development processes in Nigeria. And the paper argue famely that it could have been lesser impact, had it been those responsible for the curbing measures adhered strictly and implemented those modalities to the letter. The works of Gottfried Wilhalm Leibniz and Martin Shubik on game theory as the theoretical framework, to establish the connection between the existing variables. It adopted a secondary method of data collection whereby information were sourced from newspapers and published academic materials. However, the study recommended among others that; compulsory wearing of face mask, maintain social distancing, regular washing of hands and avoidance of hand shake, disinfecting environments, isolating people with temperature above 380C, etc.
